Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Buyer/Planner to coordinate procurement and material planning for GMP drug product manufacturing operations. You will liaise with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance to ensure timely materials availability and optimal supplier performance.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain/manufacturing within Life Sciences, experience with ERP/MRP, and a focus on cost-effective procurement. CDMO exposure is a plus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing or related support functions or any combination of those within Life Sciences
• Experience in aseptic Manufacturing preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or life sciences
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite, ERP and MRP Systems
• Proven track record of planning/procurement and vendor management in a CDMO environment

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an integrated planning process aligning leadership, Business Development and Supply Chain with a demand plan
• Identify and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, ensure timely procurement
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and other stakeholders to align on vendor selection and performance
• Utilize supply management tools to develop long- and short-term supply chain strategies
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to reduce costs and increase efficiency
• Manage and optimize material flow, inventory control and production scheduling
• Support vendor qualification and maintain supplier status with QA involvement
