Job summary

Marketlab in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking a driven Buyer/Planner to elevate inventory planning and supply execution within our Supply Chain team. You will own the end-to-end operational cycle, from proactive supply planning and inventory analysis to purchasing execution and delivery, managing a portfolio of suppliers and SKUs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or inventory planning.
• Experience managing a high-SKU distribution environment preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office.
• Strong time management and attention to detail with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and purchasing for assigned suppliers and SKUs.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Sourcing on new product launches.
• Set ABC classifications and reorder points to optimize inventory.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, track delivery dates, expediting as needed.
• Maintain ERP data including lead times, ROPs, MOQs, and supplier contacts.
• Drive process improvements and modernize workflows.
• Support RTV, service requests, and replacement part ordering.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable on vendor invoices.
• Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance.
