Job summary

Ur-Energy USA Inc. is a uranium mining company in Wyoming seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join the Supply Chain team in Casper.

You will support sourcing, purchasing, and expediting of materials, equipment, parts, and services to keep mining operations running safely and without interruption. You’ll work with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Warehousing, and Finance to execute POs, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure critical goods arrive on time.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years of purchasing/procurement/supply chain experience, ideally in mining/oil & gas/manufacturing.
• Familiarity with procurement processes: RFQ/RFP, PO administration, supplier qualification, expediting.

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for materials, parts, equipment, and services.
• Source and evaluate vendors based on cost, delivery, quality, and safety compliance.
• Solicit bids, negotiate terms, and select suppliers per procurement policy.
