Job summary

SIFCO Industries Inc. is seeking a skilled Buyer in Orange, CA to manage day-to-day purchasing of raw materials and hardware to support production demand. You will identify priorities, coordinate with the Director of Operations, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiencies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, SAP experience, and strong Excel capabilities. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting with understanding of business flow and operations.
• Strong Excel skills and data extraction for reports.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials and hardware to meet production demand.
• Collaborate with QA and ENG on flow-down instructions and specifications.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs and supplier terms to protect PO due dates.
• Maintain inventory control and monitor stock levels with vendors.
• Prepare and analyze specifications and bids; manage supplier relationships.
