Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business Admin, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in industrial automation or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Perform duties with minimal direction if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage timely procurement of materials and services in line with project timelines, budget, and quality for all vendors.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure best pricing, quality, and delivery; monitor performance and resolve issues.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
• Conduct regular cost analyses to identify potential savings and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement procurement best practices and process improvements.
• Assist in purchasing to comply with policies and ISO9001/ ISO14001 documentation.
• Work with engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams to meet technical specs and on-time delivery.
• Manage procurement from requisition to delivery, ensuring adherence to policies, budgets, and timelines.
• Assist in resolving issues that affect vendor payments.
• All other duties as assigned.
