Job summary

Crissair, Inc. in the United States seeks a procurement professional to manage purchasing of raw materials, machined parts and services. You will create POs/RFQs, negotiate with suppliers on price and delivery, and align orders with production needs to minimize inventory and meet schedules.

The role emphasizes cost analysis, vendor management, and ERP/Inventory proficiency to support aerospace manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 2–4 years in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong English reading/writing and ability to interpret documents.
Solid math, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient with ERP/inventory systems and MS Office suite.
Experience with blueprints and manufacturing standards are a plus.

Responsibilities

Create purchase orders for raw materials, machined parts, purchased parts and OSP processes.
Prepare RFQs for materials and processes; negotiate prices and delivery dates.
Procure components meeting demand while considering price, lead time and obsolescence.
Align deliveries to minimize inventory while maintaining production needs.
Analyze costs, perform variance analyses and monitor delinquent PO reports.
Follow up with suppliers and reconcile invoicing discrepancies with accounting.
Maintain suppliers' manufacturing schedules to support in-house production.
