Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Cheswick, PA seeks a Buyer with 2–5 years of purchasing in manufacturing. You will evaluate bids, negotiate terms, follow orders to completion and ensure compliance with federal and DoD requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, ERP and Excel proficiency, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain security clearance. Career growth and competitive pay are offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of purchasing experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Government procurement experience is preferred.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong organizational skills, time management and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates bids, selects and negotiates with suppliers for price, delivery, quality and service.
• Follows up on awards until completion of order.
• Negotiates with suppliers on damage claims, rejections, returns, over-shipments and engineering changes.
• Conducts supplier site visits and rates production capability and delivery.
• Complies with DoD export control and security requirements.
