Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years purchasing experience.
• Experience in medical/diagnostic/biotechnology production setting preferred.
• AA degree or some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials, lab supplies, scientific equipment and services based on planned usage and inventory.
• Maintain communication with suppliers and internal customers.
• Identify and negotiate with suppliers for cost savings and reliability.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with other departments to maintain inventory levels.
• Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Track and report purchasing metrics and PPV to costing.
