Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Buyer II to manage procurement and program administration for national goods and services contracts. You will serve as the firm liaison with suppliers, negotiate terms based on spend, and drive cost reductions while adhering to purchasing policies.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, manage contracts and renewals, track savings, and support requisitions and service requests to optimize supply chain performance for the firm and its clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in purchasing/procurement; or a HS diploma with 5+ years in purchasing/procurement.
• Experience negotiating terms and contracts with providers is preferred.
• Experience in a professional services firm (e.g., accounting, financial services) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews Requisitions in Oracle and manages exceptions.
• Analyses Oracle reports and takes action.
• Leads sourcing analysis and cost analysis for assigned commodities.
• Manages supplier relationships for contracts and conducts supplier reviews.
• Negotiates contract terms for national contracts and oversees contract compliance.
• Writes and issues RFx and supports renewals with stakeholders.
• Tracks and reports savings and manages renewals as needed.
• Provides daily procurement support to internal customers.
