Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Buyer II to oversee procurement and program administration of national goods and services contracts. You will liaise with suppliers, negotiate terms based on spend, and drive cost-reduction initiatives while following purchasing policy.

You will work with internal stakeholders and the supply base to optimize supply chain partnerships, support renewal processes, expedite orders, review requisitions, and track savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of procurement experience.
• Experience negotiating terms and contracts with providers.
• Experience in professional services firms such as accounting, financial services, or banking, preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review Requisitions in Oracle and manage exceptions.
• Lead sourcing analysis and cost optimization for assigned commodities.
• Negotiate terms for national contracts and manage supplier relationships.
• Track savings and report procurement metrics.
• Ensure contract compliance and coordinate with Finance/GC as needed.
