Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and supplier relationships to ensure timely, compliant procurements that support mission-driven projects in aerospace, defense, and national security.

The role requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with experience in ERP systems and procurement processes. Travel up to 10% may be required depending on program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or related discipline with 5+ years of experience in supply chain OR 9+ years of experience in purchasing field in lieu of a degree
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas, anticipate potential objections, and persuade others to adopt a different point of view.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools, including procurement management and ERP systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Place and manage purchase orders and subcontracts for both direct contract and indirect company‑support acquisitions.
• Monitor and expedite open purchase orders according to project requirements.
• Manage relevant purchase order data in MRP system to ensure accurate and complete information at all times.
• Conduct negotiations, with management support, to secure favorable terms and conditions, price, and schedule with suppliers.
• Ensure program requirements are appropriately prioritized and executed to meet needs.
• Effectively communicate supplier performance risks with internal customers proactively.
• Support resolution of discrepancies related to purchasing, delivery, receiving, accounts payable invoices, and payment to the supplier.
