Job summary

Voyager Technologies, based in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Buyer II to lead procurement for direct contracts and indirect needs. This hybrid role reports to the Director of Supply Chain and focuses on negotiating favorable terms, expediting orders, and maintaining accurate MRP data.

You will liaise with suppliers, prioritize program requirements, and resolve procurement discrepancies while supporting aerospace and defense projects.

Responsibilities

• Place and manage purchase orders and subcontracts for direct and indirect acquisitions.
• Monitor and expedite open purchase orders according to project requirements.
• Manage PO data in MRP to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct negotiations to secure favorable terms, price, and schedule with suppliers.
• Prioritize program requirements and ensure they are executed to meet needs.
• Communicate supplier performance risks to internal customers.
• Resolve discrepancies related to purchasing, delivery, receiving, AP invoices, and payments.
