Franke LLC is seeking a procurement specialist responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. The role supports on-time delivery and supplier relationship management to ensure value and quality.

You'll review quotes, manage supplier performance, and coordinate with Receiving and Accounting to resolve discrepancies, while leveraging MRP and demand planning to align purchases with business needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of customer service principles and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports; speak before groups.
• Ability to perform intermediate math and analyze ratios and percentages.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and order processing/inventory systems.
• Familiarity with administrative procedures and records management.

Responsabilités

• Purchase and negotiate materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
• Review, analyze, and decide quantities to purchase using MRP and Demand Planning.
• Address quality/specification issues and inbound/outbound shipping damages.
• Initiate RFPs and negotiate contracts tied to pricing/terms.
• Ensure on-time delivery and expediting orders as needed.
• Resolve receiving/invoice discrepancies with suppliers, coordinating with Receiving and Accounting.
• Issue Purchase Orders and maintain ETAs in systems.
• Communicate supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
