Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking a procurement professional in the United States to identify and evaluate suppliers, conduct site visits, and manage purchasing activities with ERP systems (Syteline). The role focuses on negotiation of price, delivery, and terms while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

You will coordinate RFQs, issue purchase orders, and monitor supplier performance. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in procurement are required, CPM preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/related field.
• Three+ years of procurement experience.
• CPM preferred; knowledge of purchasing methods and ERP systems.
• Understanding of legal/regulatory requirements related to procurement.
• Ability to negotiate price, terms, and lead times with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers by researching parts, equipment, and materials availability.
• Conduct supplier site visits and assess production capability and delivery performance.
• Prepare RFQs and issue POs with approved suppliers reflecting price, schedule, and terms.
• Evaluate bids and negotiate on price, delivery, and quality; seek alternate sources as needed.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues; coordinate root-cause actions when required.
• Negotiate settlements related to damaged or non-conforming materials and changes.
