Job summary

TEAM Industries is seeking a Buyer to direct the purchasing of assigned products to ensure uninterrupted supply at optimum cost and quality. You will maintain a balance between supplier quality, delivery expectations, and cost reduction metrics.

Responsibilities include procurement, scheduling to maintain inventory levels, and oversight of invoices and freight for cost control. A 4-year degree and five years of supply chain experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Five years of supply chain experience.
• CPM or APICS certification preferred.

• Directs the purchasing of assigned products to ensure uninterrupted supply at optimum cost.
• Maintains balance between supplier quality, delivery expectations, and cost reduction metrics.
• Oversees verification of invoices and freight bills for accounting.
• Manages transportation and logistics of purchased products for timely delivery.
• Works with corporate supplier management to support contracts and cost objectives.
• Communicates and presents procurement concepts to SCM personnel and cross-functional teams.
