Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Master Scheduler to develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule, aligning demand with inventory targets and manufacturing capacity. You will coordinate across Sales, Procurement, Production, Engineering and QA to optimize material flow and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in discrete manufacturing, ERP/MRP systems, and at least 10 years in planning roles, with hands-on experience in S&OP processes and continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations experience.
• Experience in a discrete manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
• Experience participating in S&OP processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand, forecasts, and inventory targets.
• Translate sales forecasts and customer orders into detailed production schedules.
• Balance production requirements against labor, machine, and material capacity constraints.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans as required to meet changing business conditions.
• Conduct finite and infinite capacity planning analyses.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Production, Engineering and QA to ensure aligned planning.
