Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Buyer in St. George, UT, to plan and manage replenishment by purchasing materials supporting production schedules. You will collaborate with planners, production teams, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and optimized costs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong ERP experience, 5+ years in purchasing, and excellent communication. It is an onsite Contract to Hire position with competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of related experience in electronics or contract manufacturing with purchasing responsibilities.
• Strong purchasing and procurement skills including PO creation, supplier management, and cost analysis.
• Experience with ERP processes, scheduling, and MRP in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics BC or similar.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage replenishment by purchasing materials supporting production schedules.
• Collaborate with planners, production, and other departments to execute plans on time.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers by researching availability, quality, pricing, and service options.
• Develop bidder lists and issue RFQs/RFPs to support sourcing decisions.
• Evaluate supplier performance, quality, pricing and conduct audits as needed.
