We are seeking a Purchasing professional to coordinate goods/services, process POs accurately, and collaborate with suppliers to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 3–4 years of sourcing, procurement, or purchasing experience.
• Strong analytical skills with accuracy and attention to detail; ability to see the big picture.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems; Epicor a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders to meet production schedules; review supplier acknowledgements and update ERP accordingly.
• Review requisitions for completeness and accuracy; ensure PO changes and returns are documented in system.
• Ensure efficiency of outside service suppliers including lead times, freight, and documentation.
• Maintain ERP parameters to meet inventory strategies; forecast demands with suppliers.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely arrival and trace issues when delays occur.
• Communicate delays in material receipts and planned production; set plans to resolve delays.
• Work with suppliers to address discrepancies in quantity, quality and on-time delivery.
• Participate in supplier selection, transitions, performance measures, and supplier relationship improvements.
• Maintain vendor master file in the system for accurate setup.
• Complete KPIs: cost containment, supplier reduction, on-time delivery, and inventory turns.
• Analyze ERP buy action, reschedule, and late PT reports to create Purchase Orders for assured supply.
