Job summary

States Manufacturing, based in the Twin Cities north metro, is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to coordinate purchase orders and supplier relationships for electrical and metal solutions nationwide. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business and 3–4 years in sourcing or purchasing, plus strong Excel and ERP experience.

You will manage orders, optimize lead times, monitor inventory, and ensure policy-compliant transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business and/or 3–4 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, or purchasing.
• “Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet, with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.”
• “Knowledge of ERP systems, Epicor a plus.”
• “Strong analytical skills; detail-driven with emphasis on accuracy.”
• “Strong written and verbal communication skills.”

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the purchase of goods and services.

• Monitor lead times, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
• Communicate delays and resolve production-related issues.
• Maintain vendor master and supplier relationships.
• Support supplier transitions and performance initiatives.
