Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent and eight years of related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Knowledge of local, state/provincial, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing activities for critical engineered equipment and major bulk materials per project requirements.
• Prepare bid packages, manage bidder communications and clarification meetings, and administer quotation timelines.
• Conduct commercial bid evaluations evaluating pricing, terms, delivery, compliance and risk against project baseline documents.
• Issue purchase orders and manage them through full lifecycle, including change orders and supplier exceptions.
• Negotiate and provide recommendations for terms and conditions exceptions.
