Fluor Corporation in Houston is seeking a Project Purchasing Manager to lead material management on EPFC projects and potentially serve as regional procurement leader. You will oversee procurement planning, RFQ/PO generation, and the end-to-end process from requisition to close-out.

The role requires a four-year degree with extensive procurement experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of applicable statutes and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with significant work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the procurement role.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work approach.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project member in formulating plans and executing material management activities.
• Manage procurement work process and report material status from purchase through receipt.
• Develop purchasing and material management from requisition to close-out and assign RFQ/PO packages.
• Implement and monitor the Material Management Work Process per corporate tools and project needs.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities as appropriate.
• Generate RFQ/PO in the approved system for project, estimate or proposal work.
• Other duties as assigned.
