Job summary

You will perform routine calculations, review vendor docs, monitor material estimates, and ensure adherence to codes and standards.

A four-year engineering degree and one year of experience are required; Engineer-in-Training status is expected; strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in engineering or global equivalent with one year of related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Engineer-in-Training achievement status is expected.
• Knowledge of discipline codes and standards, materials cost considerations, and practical field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and check routine calculations, specify simple equipment, and solve problems of simple engineering complexity.
• Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor material estimates and quantities; participate in procurement activities.
• Adhere to industry codes and standards and project procedures.
• Analyze and make independent recommendations within project objectives.
• Organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
