Job summary

Fluor Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a senior Material Manager to lead the formulation of plans and execution of material management on medium- to large-sized EPFC projects. You will oversee material planning, purchasing, expediting, logistics, and field material management, ensuring integration with Supplier Quality Surveillance.

The role requires a four-year degree and extensive related experience, with strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 14 years of related experience, or 18 years if not degreed.
Strong communication with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors and stakeholders.
Knowledge of local, state/province, and federal statutes and guidelines.
Attention to detail and time-conscious work habits.
Experience leading material management on EPFC projects.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and administrative direction related to the established Company, Material Management Plan and/or project policies and procedures.
Perform periodic functional reviews and audits of project Material Management execution.
Prepare and present Material Management indoctrination and training sessions to department or project personnel.
Prepare and issue relevant Material Management reports.
Responsible for the implementation, management, and monitoring of the Material Management Work Process with the approved Corporate Reference Tool for Material Management.
Review, analyze, and negotiate Terms and Conditions based on Prime Contract flow downs.
Other duties as assigned.
