Job summary

Aspen Surgical is seeking a Buyer to manage procurement and supplier relationships for two sites in the United States. The role supports integrating legacy processes into Aspen Surgical systems and operating models, focusing on forecast-driven purchasing and cost optimization.

You will drive data-driven purchasing, establish master data accuracy, and transition from reactive buying to strategic sourcing while ensuring compliance with safety and ethics guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or equivalent
• 3–5 years Purchasing and 1–2 years contracting experience
• ERP software experience, in-depth MRP knowledge preferred
• Familiarity with total cost analysis concepts
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and supplier relationships for two sites
• Support Director of Strategic Sourcing in integrating legacy processes
• Drive cost savings through data-driven purchase planning and supplier performance
• Standardize processes and transition to system-driven workflows
• Monitor supplier base, lead times, MOQs, pricing, and master data
• Support contracting with regional direct and indirect suppliers
