Job summary

Beehive Industries seeks a detail‑driven Buyer to support tactical procurement in a fast‑paced aerospace and defense environment at our Centennial, CO facility. You’ll source, negotiate, and issue purchase orders across categories, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and government contracting standards.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to deliver cost savings and supplier excellence, while maintaining records in ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3-7+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or regulated industries.
• Hands-on sourcing experience with electronics, including PCBs, motors, and pumps.
• Strong FAR/DFARS knowledge and compliance documentation experience.
• Experience preparing, managing, and auditing procurement compliance documentation.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
• Reading engineering drawings and procurement analytics with MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for various categories.
• Manage RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, bid analysis, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Procure electronics, PCB s, motors, pumps, tooling, test hardware, and related manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure full FAR/DFARS compliance and government contracting regulations throughout procurement.
• Prepare, review, and maintain compliance documentation including flow-down of clauses.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Quality, Finance, and Program Management.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, service agreements, and long-term supply arrangements.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure performance in quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
• Identify and execute cost reduction, process improvement, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Maintain procurement records and sourcing documentation within ERP/MRP systems.
• Support audits and documentation required for AS9100, ISO, and government contracting.
