Job summary

Beehive Industries, located at the Cincinnati, Ohio facility, seeks a Buyer to own outside processing and special‑process procurement in a fast‑paced aerospace/defense environment. You will manage supplier relationships, RFQs, and contracts to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Responsibilities include negotiating terms, coordinating with Engineering and Program teams, and maintaining procurement records in ERP/MRP systems, with a focus on compliance and cost improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or related field.
• 3–7+ years of purchasing/procurement in manufacturing, aerospace, or regulated industries.
• Strong negotiation, analytics, and supplier-management skills.
• Experience reading statements of work and technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Own outside processing and special-process procurement from requisition through supplier execution.
• Manage RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, bid analysis, negotiations, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and government contracting rules.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to meet objectives.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and long-term supply arrangements.
• Maintain supplier performance data and procurement records in ERP/MRP systems.
• Support audits and documentation related to AS9100/ISO standards.
