Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Strategic Buyer to develop and execute the purchasing strategy across commodities. Hybrid role with three office days per week, relocation support if applicable.

You will lead supplier negotiations, craft commodity strategies, build supplier relationships, and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements through cross-functional collaboration and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 4+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years.
• Master’s degree, OR JD/PhD, OR 6+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and category management to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
• Build commodity strategies and supplier relationships.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligning with company goals.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and risk mitigation for commercial resilience.
