Requirements include an associate degree with 4+ years or a bachelor’s with 2+ years in purchasing or supply chain; master’s/JD/PhD also considered. U.S. citizen per eligibility.

Position Summary

As a Buyer for Rolls-Royce, you’ll play an integral role in developing the purchasing strategy across various commodities and executing that strategy through high-impact contract negotiations, lead commercial activities, and ensure supply chain competitiveness, compliance, and resilience. This is an exciting opportunity, as you’ll interface with a range of senior internal stakeholders and drive success to improve cost, quality, delivery and performance.

What you will be doing

• Lead supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and category management to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements
• Taking a significant role in crafting commodity strategies
• Building relationships with suppliers
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with the company goals and deliver measurable value
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and risk mitigation plans to ensure commercial resilience
• Collaborate across business functions to align procurement strategy with organizational priorities
• Support ongoing process improvement and best practice sharing across the global network

Basic Requirements

• Associate degree with 4+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain
• Master’s degree
• JD/PhD
• 6+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain in lieu of a degree

Pay Range: Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range. $84,351 - $137,071-Annually
