Amgen is seeking an Associate Director - Business Operations Partner for Rheumatology and Nephrology to act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating insights into action to enable better, faster business decisions.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve performance, inform strategic planning, and ensure disciplined execution of priorities while contributing to organizational effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 3 years of operations, strategy, business analytics, or commercial experience.
• Master's degree and 5 years of operations, strategy, business analytics, or commercial experience.
• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of operations, strategy, business analytics, or commercial experience.
• Associate's degree and 12 years of operations, strategy, business analytics, or commercial experience.
• High school diploma / GED and 14 years of operations, strategy, business analytics, or commercial experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted Business Operations partner to the General Manager and Brand Leadership Team.
• Support development and execution of BU strategy by integrating commercial insights, market dynamics, financial perspectives, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
• Identify business opportunities, performance gaps, emerging risks, and strategic trade-offs with actionable recommendations.
• Translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations for executive decision-making.
