Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a Boeing subsidiary, seeks a Senior Program Manager to plan, commit, and control resource deployment for defense programs while leading cross-functional teams.

You will interface with stakeholders to ensure on-time execution and manage cost budgets and headcount for complex contracts. A U.S. Secret Clearance and Excel/PowerPoint proficiency are required; Kansas-based role with competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field, or 5+ years of experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience supporting executive leadership in a business operations environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plans, commits, and controls deployment of resources to meet requirements.
• Directs development, integration, implementation of new programs or processes.
• Authorizes changes to work statements using formal directives.
• Develops control systems and monitors program commitments and compliance.
• Interfacing with management to provide leadership and coordination.
• Cost budgeting and headcount forecasting to meet schedules.
• Develops facilities plans to support contracts and schedules.
• Communicates with stakeholders to present recommendations and solutions.
• Review and update strategic planning policies and procedures.
