Job summary

Cloudflare, based in the United States with locations in Austin, TX and San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Business Operations professional to enable data-driven decision-making across the CFO organization. You will prototype MVPs, build scalable processes, and collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Science teams to track KPI performance.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in strategic finance or business operations, strong modeling ability, and excellent English communication to influence

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Operations, Consulting, Investment Banking or Strategic Finance experience.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
• Clear, concise and proactive communicator.
• Have a strong modeling foundation: build auditable business models.
• Versatility: self-starter, fast-paced environment; high proficiency in SQL or AI-assisted coding.
• Advanced/ working proficiency with English mandatory both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex problems: identify root causes and translate data into meaningful insights or repeatable gadgets or processes.
• Lead projects through the full cycle: from initial scoping, solution design, code execution, QA and to operationalization and enablement.
• Leverage latest AI technologies incl. Cloudflare OS, Developer Platform, emerging best practices to illustrate what can be possible in how we work.
• Synthesize audience-relevant findings from the data to achieve alignments and support strategic decision making.
• Assess financial impact of new initiatives, identify approaches to risk mitigation, create forecast model on new metrics as needed.
• Work closely with Data Engineer and Data Science Team to track core KPIs, create visibility on new initiatives and its impact, and to streamline reporting processes as the projects mature.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to Finance & Executive Leadership.
