Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Senior Business Development Coordinator to support its Corporate & Finance Transactions practice in Washington, DC. This role offers ownership, autonomy, and exposure to senior stakeholders in a high-performing transactional environment.

You will drive BD initiatives, manage end-to-end proposals and events, deliver market research, and partner with lawyers to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Legal business development experience supporting corporate/finance/transactional/practice groups
• Capable of managing full BD scope with minimal supervision
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
• Prior law firm experience is essential, exposure to multiple firms is a plus
• Seeking a role with increased autonomy and visibility

Responsibilities

• Execute business development and marketing initiatives for Corporate & Finance Transactions practice groups
• Manage end-to-end proposals, pitches, RFPs, and client development opportunities
• Lead events, webinars, conferences, and profile-raising campaigns
• Deliver market research, thought leadership campaigns, and directory submissions to enhance the practice’s market profile
• Partner with lawyers to identify growth opportunities and support strategic BD efforts
