Job summary

Jacobsen Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Development and Sales in Salt Lake City, UT. You will identify markets, prospect opportunities, and drive revenue by delivering high-value solutions to clients and managing strategic relationships.

You will work with Project Executives, build a strong pipeline, and participate in ESOP while advancing the company’s plans and projects within a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business development, marketing, strategy, construction management or related fields.
• Five to eight years of business development experience, with minimum of three years in a substantially similar position.
• Strong sales background in architecture, engineering and/or construction services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential markets, clients and projects aligned with Jacobsen's plans.
• Prospect new opportunities and grow legacy accounts per annual and five-year plans.
• Drive revenue by understanding client needs and offering valuable solutions.
• Collaborate with Project Executives to pursue key projects."
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet targets.
• Maintain relationships with architects, engineers and industry partners.
• Provide market input to executives and keep management informed of conditions.
• Leverage CRM to track activities and accountability across the team.
