Job summary

Patriot Maritime seeks a Business Development & Chartering Manager to drive growth in government and commercial segments. This role focuses on securing MSC, MARAD, and USTRANSCOM opportunities, while also leading the chartering of Patriot’s shallow draft tanker vessels and managing voyage economics.

You will build broker relationships, prepare proposals, and oversee USC-10 activities, including CARE submissions and vessel nominations.

Qualifications

• BS in Business Management, Maritime Business/Transportation or equivalent.
• MBA preferred for strategic leadership roles.
• Experience in vessel chartering or shipbroking is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue government and commercial opportunities through bid/proposal processes.
• Lead chartering for Patriot-owned vessels, negotiating terms and pricing.
• Use AI tools to speed market research, forecasting, and reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure compliant and timely voyage execution.
