Job summary

Capital One in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Principal Risk Associate - Business Continuity Management to support planning and recovery for the Commercial Bank. You will partner across Business, Technology, and Third Party landscapes to ensure compliance with Enterprise Policy and protect customers, shareholders, and associates.

You will collaborate with first line peers and senior leaders to drive governance, oversight, and compliance across risk programs, focusing on Business Continuity,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• 1+ year of experience in Risk Management, Consulting, Quality Assurance, Project Management, or Process Management.

Responsibilities

• Support cross functional risk management activities, focusing on Business Continuity, Operational Resiliency, and Crisis Management.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen efficiency and execution of the performance and compliance goals of the Commercial Business Continuity Program.
• Manage a robust Business Continuity control suite and link challenges to annual reviews.
• Provide ongoing Business Continuity Plan administration support to Plan Owners and Managers.
• Contribute to crisis event reporting and post-event analyses.
• Support risk programs with project management, tracking, reporting, and executive communications.
• Monitor KRIs and escalate threshold breaches for proactive remediation.
