Associated Bank is seeking a Business Banking Portfolio Manager in Minnesota to support a portfolio of Business Banking relationships through underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management activities. You will analyze financial information and help deliver strong client outcomes while supporting relationship growth.

You will work across a diverse portfolio including commercial and industrial and commercial real estate lending, coordinating with Relationship Managers and credit teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, SBA lending, and/or credit approval.
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements and evaluate credit risk.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Analyze financial statements and credit information to evaluate loan requests and recommend appropriate credit structures.
• Manage the end-to-end renewal process, partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of credit presentations and reviews.
• Complete annual credit reviews and ongoing portfolio monitoring to maintain portfolio quality and compliance standards.
• Monitor borrower performance and loan repayment activity, identifying and addressing potential credit concerns proactively.
• Present credit recommendations and participate in the loan approval process when appropriate.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, credit teams, and other internal business partners to support client needs and credit inquiries.
• Ensure portfolio administration and risk management activities are aligned with established credit policies, business strategies, and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the bank within the community by participating in business and professional organizations and supporting special projects as needed.
