Job summary

McKinsey is seeking an undergraduate-in-progress Business Analyst Intern to join client service teams for 8–10 weeks, contributing to workstreams that address challenging business problems for influential clients. You will help uncover true challenges behind client strategy and craft actionable plans for sustainable change, collaborating with McKinsey colleagues to drive results.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in progress.
• Excellent organization capabilities and ability to manage tasks independently.
• Strong communication skills in English and local language(s).
• Proficient decision making based on data and logic.
• Ability to create work product-focused outputs (PowerPoint decks, Excel models, written deliverables).
• Excellent time management in a complex, largely autonomous environment.
• Willingness to travel for client work when required.

Responsibilities

• Support client service teams as an intern for 8–10 weeks on defined workstreams.
• Contribute to solving challenging client problems with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with clients and McKinsey colleagues to uncover root causes and plan transformations.
• Prepare deliverables and present findings that inform client strategy and long-term change.
