Job summary

Cosmo International Fragrances seeks a Strategic Business Analyst with 5–10 years in FP&A or related analytical roles. You will build financial models, forecast, and assess pricing and profitability while presenting insights to senior leadership.

The role requires advanced Excel, Power BI, and ERP experience (SAP preferred). It is a full-time, on-site position in Fort Lauderdale with opportunities to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in FP&A or similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, profitability, and pricing experience.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities required.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP; background in fragrance/cosmetics/CPG preferred.

Job description

We are seeking a Strategic Business Analyst with approximately 5–10 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, strategic business analysis, or a similar analytical role. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, profitability, pricing, and business-performance analysis experience and be comfortable working directly with senior/executive leadership. Advanced Excel is essential, along with strong Power BI/BI capabilities and ERP experience, preferably SAP. Experience within fragrance, beauty/cosmetics, CPG, specialty chemicals, ingredients, or a similar manufacturing/B2B environment is strongly preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Fort Lauderdale.

What You'll Do

Strategic Business Analysis

• Partner directly with the General Manager to support strategic planning, execution, and key business decisions.
• Analyze business performance to identify trends, risks, growth opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Build financial and commercial models to support investments, pricing decisions, customer strategies, and other business priorities.
• Support annual business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze sales performance by customer, territory, category, product, and salesperson.
• Develop profitability analyses by customer, account, and product portfolio.
• Support pricing strategies, growth initiatives, incentive programs, and business cases.
• Evaluate new business opportunities and customer investments.
• Support Sales leadership with pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and account planning.
• Partner closely with Finance to strengthen forecasting accuracy and profitability analysis.
• Monitor gross margin, contribution margin, and operating performance.
• Develop financial models to evaluate investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting tools.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of business data.
• Present findings to senior leadership with clear, actionable recommendations.

Cross-Functional & Process Support

• Support demand planning, inventory optimization, and analysis of operational performance and customer service levels.
• Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives involving Sales, Finance, and relevant operational teams.
• Leverage SAP, Formpak, and business intelligence tools to improve reporting, analytics, efficiency, and data quality.
• Support digital transformation and continuous improvement projects.
