In this role, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while managing a team of FP&A professionals. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, extensive experience in budgeting and forecasting, and strong leadership skills. This position offers a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Director of FP&A Role Overview

Location: NYC office

Reports to: CFO/COO

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, monthly closings, quarterly reforecasting.
• Analyze margin, contribution by channel/product.
• Partner on Opex management for efficiency and cost improvement.
• Oversee Capex evaluation and investment profitability.
• Provide variance analysis to identify risks/opportunities.
• Translate strategic plans into realistic budgets with action plans.
• Define and monitor KPIs for financial and operational metrics.
• Challenge assumptions, provide strategic insights for executives.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships.

Processes and Systems

• Optimize ERP setup for data quality and process efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, financial controls, authority levels.
• Participate in strategic/tactical business initiatives.

Leadership & People Development

• Lead and develop FP&A managers.
• Foster growth mindset and continuous improvement culture.
• Build partnerships across departments and HQ (France).
• Champion talent development and succession planning.

Qualifications
