Job summary

Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is hiring a Senior Building & Safety Project Manager based in Buffalo, NY, Chicago, IL, Londonderry NH, Tulare CA, or the corporate office in Chicago. The Sr.

Building & Safety Project Manager is responsible for managing and leading projects related to theBuilding and Safety of all our offices & plants, from design to full implementation, supporting plant operations and ensure it meets local regulations and Lactalis guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Experience auditing manufacturing facilities and systems.
• Proven ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Audit plants and offices for deficiencies and regulatory compliance.
• Test and evaluate installed building and safety systems.
• Identify optimization opportunities in existing systems.
• Propose upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Develop drawings, scopes of work, budgets, and timelines for submittals.
• Verify stamped engineered drawings.
• Coordinate permitting steps with local agencies.
• Source vendors and quotes for project investments.
• Manage projects and track costs within budget.
• Lead project review meetings and report results to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with Quality, Food Safety, Planning, Operations and Maintenance.
• Attend Site Acceptance Tests to validate installations.
