Lactalis USA is seeking a Senior Building & Safety Project Manager based in Buffalo, NY. The role oversees building and safety projects from design through implementation, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to Lactalis guidelines across offices and plants.

Responsibilities include audits, system testing, upgrades, budgeting, and collaboration with Plant Operations, Engineering, Environment and Safety teams. Travel up to 50% is required to support plants nationwide and internationally.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture or engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience managing capital expenditure projects as a project manager.
• Manufacturing industry experience required; food sector preferred.
• Knowledge of fire prevention, extreme weather, and utility monitoring systems.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to plants and vendors.

Aufgaben

• Audit plants and offices for deficiencies and regulatory compliance per local laws and Lactalis guidelines.
• Test and evaluate installed systems; study optimization possibilities.
• Propose upgrades or replacements as needed; develop drawings, scopes of work, budgets, and timelines for submittals.
• Verify stamped engineered drawings; participate in building permitting with local agencies.
• Source vendors and quotes; manage project costs and budgets; track progress and sit in review meetings.
• Coordinate cross-functional work with Quality, Food Safety, Planning, Operations, and Maintenance.
• Attend Site Acceptance Tests as required.
