Job summary

Alliance Defending Freedom seeks a Budget and Reporting Manager to lead the annual budgeting cycle, monitor departmental spend, and deliver variance analyses. This role partners with department heads and reports to the VP of Finance, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• ERP systems experience (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate with department heads.
• Track headcount, salary, benefits, and personnel costs.
• Monitor spending vs. budget and deliver variance reports to leadership.
• Maintain budget policies, approvals, and spending controls.
• Provide monthly close support and budget-to-actual dashboards.
