Job summary

The Agency for Health Care Administration seeks a qualified Government Analyst II in Tallahassee to lead financial management tasks, budgeting duties, and trust fund analyses. This role requires deep accounting knowledge and the ability to coordinate tasks across multiple programs while ensuring compliance with state policies.

You will prepare monthly revenue analyses, support the operating budget process, and develop ad hoc reports.

Qualifications

• Four years of professional or non-professional accounting experience.
• Up to 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of college education can substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trust fund analyses and monthly revenue analyses for agency management.
• Coordinate agency tasks and project implementation and monitoring.
• Maintain trust fund schedules and supporting documentation for Legislative Budget Request (LBR).
• Communicate policy and budgetary impacts for variances from expected outcomes.
• Assist with funding of the annual operating budget, amendments, and LBRs to align with the General Appropriations Act.
