The City of Franklin is seeking a Public Works Operations Analyst to support budgeting, performance measurement, and process improvement across city departments. You will develop operating budgets, analyze financial data, and prepare reports for leadership and the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least three years' experience in public budgeting or financial analysis.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to analysis, engineering, public administration, business, accounting or finance.
• Minimum three years’ experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or related duties.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering, budget documents and cost estimates.
• Strong communication skills with leadership, departments and the public.

Responsabilidades

• Develop annual operating budgets for assigned organizations/programs.
• Formulate budgets, track expenditures, and prepare wage/workforce analyses.
• Analyze Balance Sheet/Income Statement impacts and performance measures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for City leadership and the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
• Assist with internal audits and ACFR-related processes.
