Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of governmental budgeting and accounting; budget development and forecasting; financial reporting and analysis; internal controls; fiscal compliance; cash and expenditure management.
• Strong ability to develop and manage budgets; financial modeling and forecasting; analyze variances and trends; prepare accurate financial reports.
• Experience with budgeting, accounting, and financial management within Virginia state government is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead the development, monitoring, and management of the Museum's operating budgets and financial plans.
• Provide timely analysis of the Museum's financial condition, including revenues, expenditures, commitments and variances.
• Direct and coordinate accounting, financial operations, reporting, and year-end activities in compliance with laws and GAAP.
• Maintain strong internal controls and manage ARMICS responsibilities and audits.
