Responsibilities

• Review and analyze budget balances and correct deficits per policy.
• Generate payroll correction journal entries and track funding sources.
• Analyze and approve position budget requests and verify adequacy.
• Maintain communications and training on budgeting best practices.
• Consult with departments to improve budgeting processes and forecast accuracy.
• Notify department staff of errors and provide guidance on next steps.
