Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Budget Analyst with an active Secret security clearance to support DoD budgeting and financial planning. You will collaborate with USW&R&E and CDAO leadership to develop budgets, monitor spending, and allocate resources effectively.

Responsibilities include developing budgets, tracking project expenses, and producing insightful budget reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Active Secret security clearance is required for this role.
• Experience with DoD/DISA budgeting and accounting systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the organization’s budget with program/project managers.
• Inform program managers about budget status and funds availability.
• Prepare budget reports and supporting explanations for leadership.
• Support budget formulation, analyses, and financial planning.
• Ensure funds are obligated and spent in a timely, compliant manner.
• Provide budget controls and conduct analyses to improve operations.
• Serve as the budget/financial issue contact for day-to-day inquiries.
• Assist in large data organization and reporting on budgets.
