Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Budget Analyst with an active Secret clearance to support USW(R&E) and CDAO budgets at the Mark Center. The role requires budget analysis, reporting, and collaboration with leadership to ensure financial goals are met.

Responsibilities include developing budgets with program managers, tracking expenses, and providing financial guidance. Eligible candidates will have DoD budgeting experience and advanced MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required in a relevant field.
• Familiar with DoD/DISA Budget Process.
• Experience using automated DoD/DISA accounting systems.
• Strong communication, integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Advanced MS Excel and proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to organize and manage large data sets.
• Comfortable in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop the organization’s budget with program and project managers.
• Inform managers about the status of project expenses versus the budget.
• Inform managers via reports about the availability of funds.
• Support program managers with information and explanations when needed.
• Perform budget formulation, presentation, and execution tasks.
• Monitor budget execution to ensure funds are allocated and spent timely.
• Apply budget controls and study processes to improve operations.
• Serve as the point of contact for day-to-day budget/financial issues.
• Perform budget formulation work involving review and preparation of estimates and financial plans.
• Provide budgeting guidance and conduct analyses and studies of budgets and related information.
• Assist other team members across specialties to accomplish the mission.
