Job summary

Optimum is seeking a Sr. Analyst, FP&A in Bethpage, NY, to drive high impact budgeting and forecasting initiatives within Finance. You will develop operating budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans, and support consolidation and reporting across the department.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in accounting/finance, experience with Hyperion/Oracle/Essbase, and strong Excel skills. Excellent communication and analytical abilities are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 4+ years' experience in Accounting or Finance, including budgets/forecasts.
• Experience with financial reporting tools (Hyperion, Oracle, Essbase).
• Excellent oral and written communications skills with leadership at all levels.
• Detail oriented with problem solving and fact-based decisions.
• Strong Excel skills with advanced formulas, pivot tables, graphs.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for preparing the annual budget and monthly forecasts for assigned business areas.
• Work with business leaders to develop budget/forecast/LRP aligning with goals and serve as a resource to achieve them.
• Assist in consolidation and reporting of budgets/forecasts for the department.
• Consolidation and reporting for all operating expenditures.
• Assist in monthly review, analysis and reporting of consolidated operating expenditures.
• Assist in preparation and consolidation of variance analysis.
• Develop, report, and maintain routine and ad-hoc financial analysis.
