Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a Budget Analyst to support our government clients in Washington, DC. The role focuses on budget planning, forecasting, and reporting to help CM3's financial management efforts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in business or accounting and 7+ years of relevant federal budgeting experience, with strong analytical and communication skills, and eligibility for security clearance. This is a hybrid, full-time position in DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years' federal financial and budget management experience.
• Knowledge of federal financial management and budget cycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management.
• Ability to produce accurate reports and documents.
• U.S. citizenship and eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support administration of CM3 budget and management tools.
• Ensure budgeting aligns with planning and strategy.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis and identify trends.
• Support reports, models, and financial analytic tools.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and dashboards.
• Assist in management presentations and external reports.
• Analyze processes and internal controls, suggesting improvements.
• Monitor CM3 and sub-offices' operating plans and benchmarks.
• Support travel budget administration and new initiatives.
